Our History

Founder Kevin Slattery, a Nashua native, attributed his company’s consistent growth to its dedicated employees and their keen attention to detail, which drives all aspects of the business. Other elements of success include quality home planning, innovative building technology, and understanding clients’ expectations.

This unwavering dedication to detail and commitment to quality are the hallmarks of each Etchstone crafted home — and a major differentiator among service providers in today’s fast-paced economy. Many clients have followed the company through the years, purchasing more than one Etchstone home because they love the quality and attention to detail–which all add up to excellent value.

Etchstone is also a pioneer in New Hampshire’s active adult market, completing more multiple communities specifically designed for clients aged 55+ and 62+. Examples include Summerfield of Amherst, a community of single-level detached condominium homes with custom-designed floor plans incorporating many features as standard that are found elsewhere as upgrades. Other successful 55+ communities such as Hayden Green in the Historic North End of Nashua and our recent offerings at Thompson Preserve and The Alcove at Walden Woods continue to provide unsurpassed quality and dedication to customer care.

The Etchstone team looks forward to continued growth and maintaining its mission of providing quality housing, from entry-level condominiums to luxury single-family homes.

Testimonials

From the time I began the process of choosing my home, my experience at Hayden Green has been wonderful. From Laura to the people working on my home and everyone in between, have been both friendly and helpful. Any concerns I had were addressed quickly, professionally and with a positive outcome. I never felt, when I stopped by to check the progress of my home, that it was unwelcome by anyone. This positive feeling extended to the neighbors that were moving into the neighborhood as well. I am so happy with Etchstone’s design and construction of my home and feel the overall layout was well thought out. Looking back, I feel that the entire experience from start to finish couldn’t have been better.

The question: Why did we buy at Hayden Green?

The answer: Hayden Green exceeded our expectations and living requirements. The home styles were perfect for our decision to downsize and our research on Etchstone Properties provided an exceptional reputation. Another attractive benefit was Hayden Green being in a convenient location.

My wife and I recently purchased a home at Hayden Green, a new 55 plus community in Nashua. We moved in this past August (2013) and are so pleased with our decision. A beautiful home without all of the maintenance. We found that working with Etchstone Properties was truly a pleasure. The quality of construction, attention to detail and accommodating all of our needs in building our new home was a great experience matched with their professionalism from start to finish was fantastic.

We know it’s going to be a great community, a new lifestyle for us and many happy years here.

…this is care-free living at its best. We can walk our dog, day or night in any weather, on Summerfield’s lighted, cleared walking path! In the summer, we joke that Caleb thinks the sprinkler system was invented as his own personal toy.

…we’re now just 20 minutes away from our grandchildren, after relocating from our 37-year home in Framingham. We love it here – Suzie is a member of the local garden club and library trustees, and Peter is a Rotarian. Last fall, we planted 128 flower bulbs – and look forward to enjoying them this spring!

Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Suzanne Toenbroek

… this area really has it all. We’re close to loads of shopping and dining, yet we feel like we ‘live in the country’ because of the beautiful grounds and quiet setting. We looked everywhere and decided that our Summerfield home is the best quality construction – Etchstone really put the effort into details that make our house a home.

…it’s great to be in a community of people with common interests, and opportunities to share each other’s company. The Community Center is fabulous, and we love entertaining and relaxing in our lower-level family room. We moved from a 100-year old home in Wakefield, MA to be closer to our family – and never knew how great a new home could be.

Mr. and Mrs. Gail and Joe Powers

…we looked up and down the East Coast, from Maine to Florida, and decided that the best quality was right here at Summerfield.

Mr. Joe Powers

…we can enjoy the features we want, like two separate in-home offices and a 2-car attached garage. After relocating from Maryland to be closer to family, we’re very happy to call Summerfield our home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Helen Tognetti

…of all the communities we visited, Summerfield has the best quality, style, and tasteful details – like pocket doors in the master bedrooms, and great woodsy views. We moved here from Nashua, and are very happy with our decision.

Mr. and Mrs. Ron and Lea Ann LaBonte

…why look anywhere else? Summerfield has everything we wanted.

Mr. and Mrs. Cam Bradford

…we like the single-floor, detached condominium home living. On Mike’s 60th birthday, we drove up from Pepperell, MA and this was the first place we visited. That was it – we decided that this is HOME!

Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Patricia Bloom

We can’t believe how much we love it here. We should have made the move sooner!

Mission Pointe Condominium is so centrally located to everything – we are so happy to be back in Southern New Hampshire!

The Russo’s

My two main reasons for choosing Mission Pointe Condominium were location and Builder. Prior to moving here I lived in an Etchstone built home in Litchfield (which I loved). However, when I learned that Mission Pointe Condominium was also an Etchstone property, I knew that this was where I wanted to live. The accessibility to shopping and rte 3 were a big draw. Even though its entrance is located on a main road, it is set back in a serene, peaceful, and quiet setting. My home is all I knew it would be and I’m delighted to be here.
